A social enterprise located in the beautiful and historic Cromwell Valley in Baltimore County, TALMAR is dedicated to the health and well-being of Marylanders of all ages and abilities including those with special needs. TALMAR provides educational, vocational and recreational programs utilizing agricultural and horticultural therapies as well as many other approaches, and is known for its broad spectrum of best practices in the field of habilitative and rehabilitative therapy.

QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED:
1. Demonstrated ability to produce clear, concise and compelling narrative and numeric text
2. Computer-literate
3. Self-directed with a talent for collaboration and an ability to produce under deadline
PREFERRED:
1. Education, experience and/or expertise in a field related to TALMAR’s areas of competence
2. Experience within the not-for-profit sector; Knowledge of the ABAG and/or other grant-writing approaches
3. Expertise in contracts, grants and/or project management
MAIN DUTIES:
1. Identify a broad range of public and private sources of funds applicable to TALMAR’s undertakings
2. Adopt and adapt the ABAG or other grant-writing formula and apply for two grants/month
3. Follow-through with all reporting requirements of successful applications
